Lyana F. shipped Mission 6: Build a Smart Home Security Dashboard
15 Sept, 12:03proCohort 13Status: Passed
Lyana's note: It was a challenging mission becasue i ran into so many bugs i almost wanted to cry but its ok we ball.. also like others i relied a lot on outside material, for the what if section i do think my explanation was not that clear, so if needed me to re record the video let me know! maybe ill try to use this OBS studio everybody keeps talking about haha. anyways thank you!!

Reflection★★★★★Lyana on Mission 6

👏 5Mior shipped Mission 6: Build a Smart Home Security Dashboard
14 Sept, 3:05proCohort 13Status: Passed
Cheered by Deric Y., Ong H., Shahzline M. and 3 others
Reflection★★★★★Mior on Mission 6
Liked: Enjoyed the React challenges
Would improve: The screenshots of code images aren't very conducive for learning. They are not user friendly and I took considerably longer time to learn compare to the prevous missions' lessons that used proper text for codes rather than images. I ended up referring to outside resources more and relying less on Sigmaschool materials which kind of defeat the main reason why I sign up with Sigmaschool. The excellent materials and resources you guys provide! (or used to provide rather).

Joe L. shipped Mission 6: Build a Smart Home Security Dashboard
13 Sept, 21:31proCohort 13Status: Pending review
Cheered by Ong H., Shahzline M., Mior and 1 other
Reflection★★★★★Joe on Mission 6
Liked: As we use React and various platforms such as GitHub and Vercel more, we get increasingly familiarized with them, which is good.
Would improve: Sometimes, the lesson instructions are confusing, and the images shown do not match what we see on our React screen. However, the daily debugging sessions had been helpful.

Justin Y. shipped Mission 6: Build a Smart Home Security Dashboard

Justin's note: This mission revealed many bugs that I've never faced in react before especially the routing bug that appears only after deployment.
Cheered by Ong H., Shahzline M., Lyana F. and 2 others
Reflection★★★★★Justin on Mission 6
Liked: This project really emulates how a user would navigate through a live app and is also another example of building an app that would actually be used in the real world
Would improve: Nothing to note this time.

Lyana F. shipped Mission 5: Build a Game Collection Dashboard
10 Sept, 5:23proCohort 13Status: Passed
Lyana's note: 1. Sorry for the late submission, its midterm seasons! ><. Also, with learning something new like react i had to sit down and really understand the concepts, a lot of things were new to me so i just wanted to fully understand React fully. Things like {{}} or fragments <> and all the Hooks, all the small things in react. Ultimately decided to keep the mission simple and go slow, one code at a time. (cringe..)
Cheered by Justin Y., Cassie H. and Joe L.
Reflection★★★★★Lyana on Mission 5
Liked: Learning react
Would improve: had to rely on a lot of outside material, which is fine, everyone learns differently. i like being able to watch youtube videos at my own pace!
